I swiped this from Emma at Eriepressible. I love these kinds of list. I’m a voyeur at heart and whenever I visit someone’s house, I go straight to the bookshelf and snoop through their collection. What is strange though, when I look at lists like these, I feel like both an illiterate dunce and a horrible slacker. Both descriptions being unfair because I read all the time, at least 4 books a month, and because one of Dan Brown’s books is on this list. Seriously, Angels & Demons? Plus, there’s easily 50 books that could be deemed “classics’ by a fair number of people that I think are missing from this list.

These are the top 106 books most often marked as “unread” by LibraryThing’s users.

Bold what you have read, italicize books you’ve started but couldn’t/didn’t finish, and strike through books you hated. Add an asterisk* to those you’ve read more than once. Underline those on your TBR list.
